To Tell or not to tell…

…leaving that first session, I realized some things had shifted. I felt like I had little cartoon birds flying around my head (like when a cartoon character hits his head, they show little birds flying around him?). I later found out that is a sign that fairies are around you. I had no idea that was the case when I told Erika about this later on! And, I hit every single light green on the way home, which NEVER happens! In fact, everytime I talk to people about this, I seem to hit green lights more often! Too funny!

I wanted to tell the whole world about my new discovery. However, I quickly discovered you really need to be selective over who you tell, as a lot of people don’t believe, and look at you like you are crazy. Luckily, I live in a town that is more accepting than some. And, if I tell someone and they look at me like I’m crazy, I just say “Sorry to sound so Boulder” and they always just laugh. They may think I’m a little out there, but they never tell me, so it’s all good!

Sometimes I find other people like me-who believe, but just don’t tell alot of people they believe. It is starting to open a whole new world for me. An interesting world. My husband is very cool about it. He kind of believes. Well….maybe I should say he really wants to believe, but then logic always sets in, and he doubts it. It is fun to joke about, though. Whenever we go to the mountains, or to the park, we always pick up trash. We were told that the fairies love the outdoors, and especially love when you help keep it clean. So, we pick up the trash, and talk out loud to the fairies, hoping they can hear us. Of course, we only do that when noone else is around! (And, no, he doesn’t know I am writing this!)

So, I guess by writing this blog, the word will be out about me, for those who didn’t know. I am hoping that maybe they will be curious about this new world, and maybe look into it themselves. The first thing I did was buy a book called “Fairies 101” by Doreen Virtue. She has become my main source of information. she is very knowledgeable, and fun to read.

Well, until next time…..
