Blog #1–Animals Have Such Different Personalities, Just Like Us!

For part of my classwork for animal communication, I was told to write 4 blog posts, one on each of my favorite sessions so far. This is #1.

This past week, I connected with Cassie, the 10 yr old Sheltie that belongs to some old friends of mine. I had just connected with Caesar, Cassie’s younger brother who is just 10 months old, and a total puppy.

The second I connected with Cassie, I heard this complete Southern accent. I got this picture of the actress Blythe Danner in my head (who knows why–she has been in many movies I have seen, and always has a southern accent).  The very first thing she said was ” Caesar can be an irritating little thang. This is MY house, not HIS. I rule the roost, and he just doesn’t seem to learn that this is MY family. He’s just causing rucus!” I  was cracking up, while writing the messages! Can you USE more southern words? (actually, I don’t know the answer to that, so I really AM asking it. lol)

This was the first session I did where I heard a distinct personality change in the two animals I spoke to. Getting into this world, I never would have guessed that each animal has its own different personality, like humans do. Maybe some people knew that, but I didn’t. Or I didn’t even think about it.

So, hearing Cassie talk, in her accent and Southern words, really made me laugh. And when I told her owner, she laughed so hard, saying that she always said that if Cassie was human, she’d be a southern belle! How fricking cool is THAT? Total confirmation!

So, I really learned of the individuality of every animal, no matter what species.

Good thing to know in this line of work! And very unexpected!
